39 Weeks 2 Days
Going in to be Induced!!!

Crazy that the past week actually went by as fast as it did! Its so exciting to think that Savannah will be in our arms tonight! :) We are so excited to meet her! Curious to see who she looks like! And thrilled to become a family of 4! We will literally be the typical American family! 2 kids and well 2 dogs! haha.

We have decided to just have My Aunt Monica there again for the birth.

I loved the moment Brenton came into this world, because I could feel my mom there. Not only just myself, but the Doctor, My Aunt, and Alan could also feel her presence. Before she died, she promised to be with each grandchild as they entered this world. So I look at it as a double the excitement and double the blessing! She doesn't come around to visit very often. However when she does its always special. I can only hope that my sweet little girl and I, will have the same relationship My Mother and I had. My Mother was my best friend, and I miss her very dearly!

Hopefully labor wont be to long! :( The earliest I can be induced is Noon just depending on how busy the hospital is.

39 Weeks

We are finally at the end!!! Yays! Savannah will be here in 2 days!!!

Mean while Ive been trying to help the process of going into labor! haha. I'm hoping I will just go into labor by myself on Sunday night and deliver Monday morning. So I don't have to be induced! So what have I tried??? Ive had spicy Mexican food, been taking Brenton on a zillion walks around the neighborhood, having Alan do acupressure, and even mowed the lawn!!! (the mowing the lawn I only did 75% after running over a snake... ewww! I made Alan finish!!! haha.) Today we are going to the Hoogle Zoo for the day! That should give me tons of exercise! And tom the plan is to do the acupressure every 2-3 hrs! So I guess we will see if it works! There was no way I was going to put any herbs, and oil in my system. Sitting on the toilet all night didn't sound like much fun for my last few days prego!

So far Ive had just lots of cramping, on top of the cramping from my Kidney. However the medicine she gave me has taken the edge off. Making my life wonderful! Ive also been pretty tired, pretty sure thats normal at this point! However when I go to sleep. I am sleeping like a rock! I can't really complain of a lack of a good night sleep. Which was the total opposite with Brenton! My fingers and ankles have been swelling off and on. Driving me crazy!!! I cant wait to have my body back. And my appetite is pathetic! I barely want to eat anything because nothing sounds good! Kinda stinks!!!

The House is FINALLY put together!!! All we have left is to organize the garage, put away laundry in our room, and a few more loads of dishes! Yay!!! Needless to say everything will be perfect by the time I leave for the hospital on Monday. Except the garage... thats going to take a bit more work, due to the process of dumping stuff we don't use anymore.

I will make a post about hospital list visitors! And Ill probably post the day I go in!!!

38 Weeks 5 Days
12th Prenatal Apt

♥ Savannah's Heart beat is 148!
It took the doctor almost 5 mins to get her heart beat! Some little girl didn't want to sit still! haha.

Well unfortunately there is absolutely no change from last week!!! :( I was exactly like this with Brenton for 2 weeks and than bam he came!

I've had some irregular contractions but nothing consistent!

I am set to be induced at Noon on Monday!!! The doctor thinks I will deliver by 9pm! So lets hope so! Unless she decides to come early, which I'm totally fine with! Just my luck I'll go into labor that day! haha.

The only bad thing about being induced is that she informed me holding off on a epidural wont really happen. I really wanted to try and last as long as possible. We even bought a book on pressure points and I wanted to sit in the hospitals jetted tub for a bit! I'm still going to try but she said they will come strong and hard once they induce me. So we will see! For my last one ill def get a doula and go as long as possible. But hopefully with each kid the amount of epidural will be less and less! :)

So one more update on Saturday and then Our Sweet Baby Girl will be with us!

Savannah's Blessing!!!

Just so you know we decided to bless Savannah, August 17th 2008! We know that most of you on the Culotta side will be in California for the reunion. However for the Garcia side will all be in Utah for Monday Evenings Event. Plus my Dad is flying in to Utah for the blessing! Our Ward begins at 1pm! Invites will probably be sent out with the birth announcement. I'm so excited to go with my Aunt Monica and Mother In Law, Kelly to find Savannah's Dress in June! There is no chance that we will be changing the date!!! So please don't ask us to!

38 Weeks 3 Days

Kidney Infection/Stones!!!

Well I woke up this morning as usual and got Brenton up. Fed him and we were playing in his room. At around 10am I suddenly started getting super bad cramps on my right side! I knew contractions were felt all over and not just one side. So I called the doctor, and she suggested I come in to be checked. So I got my hospital bags packed and put in the car, just in case! We got there and she checked my cervix. She said only minimal change. (She didn't say exactly) And suggested I take a urine sample for her.

Well it turns out I had white blood cells in my urine as well as a good amount of blood. Which totally makes sense to me! Since I have been telling Alan the past few days, my urine has been really dark for the amount of water I drink. So what does this mean??? It means 1 of 2 things. Either I have a Kidney Infection or Kidney Stone trying to make its way out. So what can we do??? Absolutely nothing! It means I will be in pain for the rest of my pregnancy until Savannah arrives! So thank goodness I only have 6 days left but at the same time 6 days seems like forever! She told me that if its a kidney infection its most likely because Savannah is sitting on my kidney, literally! Which is giving it the lack of circulation, causing it to swell and get infected! It wont go away until I give birth! If its a stone it wont go away until I pass it. So I am to drink more water than normal to help it pass! Stones are also to be more painful than labor! My question for the doctor was how am I to know if Im in labor then?! Her reply she wasn't to sure! So comforting!!! haha. I also have the fun symptoms of wanting to throw up and a fever.

So now I'm just in a lot of pain, super miserable, and literally sick! Lets hope the next 6 days goes faster!!!

38 Weeks

Its insane to think Savannah will be here in less than 9 days!!! I have been busy getting the house put together. And at the same time being 100% completely miserable! I hurt so badly! I just ache all together.

Its hard for me to eat because I feel so sick. And the amount of food I was able to eat, is barely anything now. In fact Brenton can out eat Mommy! Pathetic, I know!

Contractions and small bits of whats left of my mucus plug are over all just random! Which is just throwing me off since with Brenton it was all around the same time!

The most surprising part of this is that I'm actually getting a good nights rest the past few nights! I guess Heavenly Father is giving me a break for all the craziness! Which I am 100% grateful for! I love my sleep! I can only hope Savannah is a great sleeper like Brenton was from day 1!!!

I guess Savannah doesnt really want to come this weekend. Im guessing she will just come on the 2nd as planned. Which is fine with me!!! I would much rather her have in June because her birthstone would be pearl instead of emerald! Plus seriously I wont complain about having more time getting the house together. Although being comfortable is whole different story!!!

Mallory and I got a bunch of fun things for Savannah at Quilted Bear this past week! I just haven't had time to take photos yet of my finds! Savannah's letters for her room also came! So I got them painted pretty fast. Now I just have to hang them! And we found Savannah's Dresser knobs. Vintage Shabby Chic Glass Pink knobs! So cute! That match her nightstand! Ill try and take pics soon! We still have yet to put up her crib because we haven't had a opportunity to get a mattress yet. So its still in its box in the corner of her room!

Ps. This is the Pink Diaper Champ we have for her. Brenton has the same one in Blue! I love the diaper champ because it hides the smell and you don't have to buy special filters for it! Totally a must have!

37 Weeks 6 Days
11th Prenatal Apt

♥ Savannah's Heartbeat was 135!

Okay so as usual Ive gained 1lb! Putting me at 20 lbs total!!! Question is will I hit 21 or not?!

Savannah is making her way down. Im at the Station 0!!! Meaning she has started to descend into my pelvis! When you read +4 is when they are crowning! So at least we know she has began to drop! And boy do I feel it! The last 2 days I feel like a turtle on my back and need assistance to get up!

As far as dilating Im exactly the same as last week! :( And for effacement I'm at 85% now! Which is a 10% increase! The Doctor said she thinks I can literally go at any moment.

However I am so miserable! I cant sleep, barely eat, cramping, contracting, ect. And with her dropping its making it impossible to get around! She said that if she isn't here sometime next week we will plan to induce on June 2nd!!! So maybe you early June guessers will be right! :) I still think shes coming this weekend. However, It's kinda nice to think I have 10 days at the most to wait!

My next apt is this coming Thursday! So we will see if I make it!

37 Weeks 2 Days

Since 10pm last night, Ive been loosing whats left of my plug, cramping, and feel like a bowling ball is about to fall out of me. No matter what position I'm in, I'm uncomfortable. Question is will I even make it to this weekend at this rate?! My doctor suggested I go to labor and delivery to be checked out. But I think I will wait until I have more consistent contractions! At this stage with Brent I delivered 2 days later! Sorry to let all your predictions for June down... but the Doctor, Alan, and I are 99% sure she isn't coming in June!

37 Weeks

I'm finally 9 Months Pregnant!!! Yays! Crazy to think she will be here in 3 weeks or less!

Thursday was my last day at work! I'm honestly shocked I made it that long! But after my ankles swelling daily and everything just aching so bad. I'm beyond relieved. Although I'm not sure of how much of a break I will get with Brenton. He has been very clingy lately and wants to be constantly doing something with Mommy!

Okay now to the achy part. I feel like my Va-jay jay is broken! It must be a combination of pulling a muscle down there and Savannah dropping! Every step hurts! My ankles have been swelling off and on which makes my knees ache. It just all together feels like a vicious cycle! I am so so so glad you only have to be pregnant for 9 months!!!!

My back is starting to ache quite a bit! I'm thinking, I need to be resized once again for a new bra. But it just seems so pointless right now before my milk comes in. I cant wait until I am at a set size again! 1st thing Im doing when that happens is going to Vikkis to get the new Bio Fit! It feels amazing on!!! At Vikkis they also told me they care Maternity Bras for Breastfeeding! I have yet to order any because I want to be sized once my milk is in.

As far as contractions go, Ive had just random ones. It seems as if she is moving around more than ever! Seems kinda strange that she is so active at the very end, with so little room.

It seems like all Ive eaten is cereal and sandwiches this past week. We have just barely finally found all of our dishes, silverware, and pots! Plus add in having to scrub down a kitchen to get it clean hasn't helped either. It seems like putting the kitchen together has been a very slow process. I'm hoping this weekend it will be done so I can make food again!!!

We went to Babies R Us this past week and finished grabbing must haves that we didnt need to special order. I want to still get the Itzbeen baby care timer. Its suppose to help moms with more than 1 to remind them when to breastfeed, change diapers, ect. You can personally set it. And I still need to order my double stroller. And a few decorations for Savannah's Room. And most importantly a box of size 1 diapers! Which we will pick up this weekend. I also got a coupon in the mail for 10% off anything on my registry

36 Weeks & 6 Days

10th Prenatal Apt

♥ Savannah's Heartbeat was 141!

I'm seeing a trend here... 1lb for every 2 weeks! Grand total of 19 lbs. Its making me wonder if Ill hit 20 lbs total by the time she arrives?! That will put me 10 lbs less with this baby overall!

Okay so she has turned around!!! Shes anterior and head down! Meaning shes ready to come out.

As you recall last week I was 30% effaced and just barely 1 cm! This week I am 75% effaced!!! And a little bit over 1 cm... so like 1 1/2cm! With Brenton I was 1 cm and 70% effaced, I was less than a week away from when Brenton arrived!

So My Prediction... She will arrive Memorial Day Weekend. Between Friday and Monday. I also am predicting she will be 6lbs 2 oz.

Next Apt is Friday!

36 Weeks

Yay for under 4 Weeks Left!!! 28 Days sounds sooo close! I feel so pregnant... except everyone tells me I look 5 to 10 weeks smaller for how big I am. I'm guessing you just tend to carry different with different genders?!

This coming week is my last week at work! :( I just cant do it anymore. Between being on my feet so much and then coming home to unpack, take care of Brenton, do meals, and clean. I'm beyond pooped! My body has def started to slow down! Plus the fact that the doctor said not to is a good reason too. I'm soooo tired! When I fall asleep I don't wake up for anything! I'm really looking forward to afternoon naps with Brenton next week! Hopefully Savannah waits until the end of the month so I can get a few good naps in!

Mallory Arrived this past week! A huge relief for me, if I go into labor. She will be able to be with Brenton when Im at the hospital. Mallory & Savannah are sharing a room technically. Savannahs stuff is all in there but she will be sleeping in our room for 4-5 months. So Mallory pretty much has the room to her self.

Speaking of Savannahs Stuff. We have almost 95% of everything we need for her! Her bassinet is set up in our Bedroom! Our hospital Bag is next to that ready to go. The car seat is also ready to go! Her clothes are in her dresser. The only thing we still need to do is put her new crib together in her room. And hang her Nursery Art!

I have become a PIG when it comes to eating! Food is wonderful! Ive had many HUGE ice creams this past week! They make fun of me at work for it. I just tell them that little girls are suppose to be made of sugar and spice and everything nice. haha. My latest craving is cake! However I have yet to get any yet. As soon as I can find my bake pans, Mallory has promised to make me a cake! :)

I have been hurting sooooo badly! Cramping is sooo bad!!!! It kinda felt like someone took a bat to me down there. Resulting in me walking very funny, slow, and needing help every time I bend down or sit. I seem to cramp from my knees up! Even my hands cramp! I'm pretty much miserable! I'm still bleeding off and on! I feel tons of pressure like I'm sitting on her head. As well as my hips just achy! I'm pretty confident we made some progress in dilation or effacement if not both. And hopefully she will turn around in there!

I am now at weekly visits to the Doctor. My next Doctor Apt is Friday! I'll update then!

Oh and today I lost the rest of my mucus plug! Which means shes coming within 2 weeks!!! eeks!

35 Weeks 5 Days
9th Prenatal Apt

♥ Savannah's Heartbeat was 150!

I wasn't technically suppose to go to the doctors until next Friday... However, I ended up going into the Doctor today after 2 days of off and on contractions and severe cramping! I feel like I'm going to DIE!!! Thats how badly I'm hurting! Ive had lots of swelling in my ankles, Light bleeding, feeling like I am going to faint, tons of pressure below, heck it just hurts to walk!

So whats the verdict? I am 30% effaced! 1 CM dilated! And shes head down but posterior! She said no more working... however I convinced her until this coming Thursday. So 4 more work days and I'll be done. She is dropping so she said to just get use to all of the pressure. And most importantly to stay off my feet! So to me this translates to Tiffany get everything you need done by next Thurs and then sit back and actually rest! Lets see if she makes it to June... Somehow I kinda doubt it!

Oh and weight wise... I have managed to not gain anything!! Regardless of having 2 HUGE Ice Creams this past week! CRAZY!

Since having my cervix checked this afternoon Ive had lots of fun bleeding! Yay for being 100% miserable and very pregnant!

Next Apt is still May 16th! So we shall see how much Ive progressed!

35 Weeks

35 Weeks & 35 Days left!!! Yays! 35 Days sounds much closer than 5 weeks!

We are in Day 2 of our Move! I'm exhausted already! I probably have lifted some things I shouldn't have. It hurts to walk, kinda like a HUGE amount of pressure with a pinching sensation. Leaving me very tired and very very slow. haha. I have a feeling we will still have 1 more day of this.

Well now that I'm finally not sick anymore. My hunger is somewhat back. Although some things just don't taste the same.

Emotional Stress seems to be at a high. Ive cried so much this week its ridiculous! Its that feeling of you need to cry and so the littlest thing will make you bawl.

I'm starting to freak out a little bit. As in how the heck am I going to manage 2 kids under 2! Pretty sure I feel like I'm going to die! Hopefully, Savannah doesn't come this weekend!

34 Weeks 6 Days
8th Prenatal Apt

♥ Savannah's Heartbeat was 150!

First to discuss my Weight Gain! I have gained just 2 lbs in 2 weeks! Grand total to 18 lbs! At this rate I'm gaining 1 lb a week, so maybe I'll hit 23lbs if she comes on her due date! Which is great news for me because it means I'll shrink down faster! So weird because they say you gain more with your second! And in my case totally the opposite!

Today was a pretty fast apt. Savannah is head down!!! Yays! My next Apt we will find out if I'm dilating and effacing. I'm pretty sure I have started already.

I've had some swelling off and on in my ankles. She says its totally normal at this point and esp if one ankle gets bigger than the other. It just depends what side the Baby is on.

We also discussed feeling faint with cramping. She says most of my stats are normal so she thinks Savannah is just pressing funny on a nerve. Regardless she wants me to sit down and rest when it happens.

Mainly she said no stress, stay off my feet, and rest! My past week has been none of that! I'm not even sure how this will work out with the move today and tom. I guess we will see...

34 Weeks

Well I have been sick what feels like forever! Sunday I was ralphing my guts out! I hate hate hate not being able to take normal meds when your prego! It takes 50x longer to get over bugs! ugh.

Due to being so sick food is kinda non existent! Which pretty much stinks! Things sound way good. But I'm afraid if I eat them, I'll throw them up. Making me hate the foods I'm craving! So I'm just gonna wait it out!

Being Sick means a lot of sleep! When Im not working and actually home. This means when Brenton goes to bed at 8:30pm so does Mommy 90% of the time! Too bad when I wake up, I don't feel like I got enough!

Well My Apt is this Friday! Hard to believe that May is pretty much here already! It seems to have flown by! It seems even crazier to me that she could arrive in May! Which kinda freaks me out right now since we are about to move and everything is packed! I have labeled everything so I know where everything is! I have put aside the bassinet things. As well as a suitcase of things I would need with Savannah ASAP. Just in case she decided to come this weekend. Because just my luck lately she would just so I wouldn't be ready! So I'm keeping my fingers crossed she will stay in a few weeks longer!

Ps. This is a Butterfly that clips onto her car seat. All the proceeds went to breast cancer! :) It seems fitting since today marks the 3 yr anniversary of Mommy being gone.

33 Weeks 3 Days

Quick Little Update. This Morning when I got up, I went to the bathroom as usual. And a small amount of my mucus plug came out!!! With Brenton, I didn't loose mine until 36 Weeks 6 Days! So apparently, I'm 3 Weeks ahead. I'm not sure if I will loose the rest of it as fast. But to say the least I was still pretty shocked!

At this same point with Brenton, I was put on Bed rest for the remainder of my pregnancy. Not that I was all that active with Brent. But I did have low fluids at this point with him. And was 5 lbs heavier! This time around I'm 50x more active and busy. So maybe thats why things are happening earlier this time around?! I guess we will see what happens! :)

33 Weeks

7 Weeks or Less Left!!!! Yays!!! If you couldn't tell the countdown in on!

Well getting home from Boston went soooo much easier. Regardless I'm never flying again at 7 to 8 Months Pregnant!!!

Sooooo Sick!!! Well doesn't it figure I catch David & Christy's Cold/Flu! Luckily Brenton only had it for a day or so! I am beyond miserable and feel like I'm going to die at any moment. I can barely move! Then you add in throwing up, not being able to breathe from a stuffed up nose, mucus going down your throat, sore throat, and a low grade fever! YUCK! There is only so much Tylenol you can take. Everywhere I go I take my Tylenol Day, Vick's Ointment, and Vick's Tissues! I just look like a train hit me!

Regardless of being sick. Ice Cream still sounds good to me! Weird, I know! But its cold and soothing just can't be beat! However its not my usual ice cream with all the toppings. Just plain vanilla! I guess the saying really is true. Little Girls are made of Sugar, and Spice and everything nice! Emphasis on the Sugar of course! haha.

I'm still falling asleep way early. In fact, I cant keep my eyes open past 10pm! I'm just beyond pooped out and end up falling asleep. Which usually means I wake up between 6 and 7 am every morning. I guess I'm still on Boston time somewhat.

Ive been feeling a lot of Shortness of Breath. It's just hard to breathe all around! I forgot to mention it to the dr. It just hurts my lungs to take a deep breathe. And not just from the cold/flu that I have. Although it does make it feel a bit worse.

Lastly I have being feeling a HUGE Amount of Pressure down there! At the doctors, I made sure they checked for a Urinary Tract Infection. But everything seems normal. So maybe shes dropping?! Its weird, I didn't feel this way until the very end with Brenton.

Ps. This is the JJ Cole Support we bought, also with the reversible shoulder straps! Savannah's Car Seat is Officially Ready for her!

32 Weeks 6 Days
7th Prenatal Apt

♥ Savannah's Heartbeat was 142!

Drum Roll.... My total Weight Gain from my last apt was 1.5 lbs!!!! Grand Total of 16 1/2 lbs! Pretty Good for 7 Weeks to go and for eating so much Ice Cream!

I'm measuring right on schedule! However she still thinks I will go earlier! So we shall see!!!

Ive been pretty sick since my trip. And unfortunately for me it takes twice as long to re-coup.

I ended up having some lite bleeding while in Boston. Probably due to the fact, that I over did myself and had to carry a 1 yr old whenever we went out. The Good News is that it wasn't dark red blood. Just lite pink! The Doctor said its nothing to be alarmed about. However she wants me to watch my amount of activity until my next apt to see if it happens again. So In the mean time, I am to take it easy and to not lift Brent.

My next Apt is May 2nd!

32 Weeks

Yay!!! This is the 8 Month Mark! Which means less than 8 weeks till shes here! FINALLY! I am so beyond ready Physically!

We are in Boston right now! Flying at 8 Months Prego is not so fun. Check my entry before to get the details!

Being out here has meant Shopping Galore!!! I got Brenton & Savannah soooo many clothes! Savannah will be stylin'! If I posted pics of how much I bought there would be to many pics!

This has been kinda a hard trip for me. Brenton has been extremely attached to me. Leaving me to carry him a ton! Ive been going to bed with Brenton every night at 8:30 pm (Utah time)! I'm not sure why it is but whenever I go somewhere and its just Brenton and I. I tend to go to bed and take naps with him! I guess Miss Savannah is just pooping me out!

I feel like I'm eating sooo much! Ive probably gained 10 lbs! haha. I guess we will see at my next dr apt! I have really been craving meat, ice cream, sweets, and cheese! Totally Random but oh so good!

Well I'm off to the South Shore Mall to see Pattio Furniture! She just got off her mission 2 days ago! When she left I was pregnant with Brenton and she comes home to me pregnant with Savannah! Crazy!

31 Weeks & 4 Days
Worst Flight of MY LIFE!!!!!

Brenton & I flew to Boston on a overnight flight with 2 layovers. This was probably the WORST flight of MY LIFE!!!! In fact, I think I saw a glimpse of Hell! Thats how bad it was! I decided to blog about this so I have future reference of flying at 8 Months Pregnant!

I'll start from the beginning! We left Tuesday Evening. Our flight left from Salt Lake City to Las Vegas at 10pm. We got to the airport and got checked in. Got on the flight and wouldn't you know Brenton was fussy. It made sense though, it was only 1 1/2 hrs past bed time! Its a fairly short flight to Vegas. Maybe 45 mins. Of Course Brenton fell asleep the last 10 mins! So naturally I had to awake him to get him in his stroller. We had a hour and a half wait in Vegas for our next flight to Washington DC. I was starting to cramp from walking to the other side of the airport. When we got to our Gate there was not one seat left! So I had to go a few gates down to sit. Brenton decided he didn't want to sit. So I let him out to run around and for the next half hour we played catch Brenton!

They finally boarded our flight! It was a 757 jet and it was sold out!!! I wasn't very happy when I discovered my seat was at the back of the airplane. But at least I had a window seat! As people loaded the plane I watched to see who was going to be in the seats next to us. Well I just happened to get the worse people on the whole flight next to me! Why? When they sat down the smelled like they were soaked in cigarettes. Which I wasn't thrilled about but I could deal with. Then I noticed they were totally drunk!!!!! They were making no sense what so ever. Just all over the place! The plane took off and they finally fell asleep or past out. Brenton fell asleep as well. So I finally decided to try and get some rest. Within 20 mins I awoke to one of the drunk guys next to me trying to put his elbow into my head! Long story short... He also slammed my head into the side 3 times. Kept elbowing my belly all through out the flight. Try and grab Brenton from me. So needless to say I got 0 sleep! It was the longest 4 1/2 hrs of my life!!! And it wasn't like it was bright enough to even read. Because the whole flight was asleep. Before we landed Brenton woke up and had managed to soak through his whole outfit!!! When we landed it was the roughest landing, Ive ever experienced. The fog was so bad the pilot didn't see the ground that fast! There were fire engines and ambulances everywhere due to the dence fog! We finally got off the flight. And low and behold My stroller was NO WHERE!!!! They forgot to board it in Vegas! Which meant I had to carry Brenton, who mind you was soaked.

My next flight was delayed another 45 mins until it cleared up. Again I got on my flight to Boston and it was sold out. That flight wasn't to bad except for the turbulence it was like a roller coaster. I was ready to throw up! To top it all of Brenton managed to go through his clothes again!!! And I had no diapers left!

When we arrived we went down to baggage claim to find no one! I called my house and they hadn't even left yet! So there I was with no sleep, no stroller, hungry, & sore as all heck from carrying Brenton and sitting on planes for the past 12 hrs! So what did I do?! I bawled my eyes out! haha. I went into the lost baggage to get a temporary stroller. I probably wasn't to nice to them. But hey it was there fault they lost my stroller! And I'm only 8 months pregnant! My dad finally showed up a hour later! It took another 2 hours from there to go home due to traffic. So poor Brent had to sit in wet pants until we got to my dads house.

Moral of the story... I am never flying again at 8 Months Pregnant. I am never flying again without help and I am never doing 2 layovers again!!!!

31 Weeks

We are finally in the Single Digits of Weeks left! I love how fast this time is flying by!

I seem to have bursts of energy here and there. But man when I over due it, it literally takes me 3 plus days to recoup. I seem to get nauseated easily again. ugh. And it seems like its become harder for me to breathe lately. Esp when I take a deep breathe, it hurts. So Im guessing Savannah is right against my lungs!

Ive noticed with Savannah that she doesn't so much kick as just twist around. Brenton was a def kicker! We joked he would be a little soccer player and well thats coming to pass. haha. Alan is convinced Savannah will be doing ice skating and dance like her mom!

Brenton & Mommy leave for Boston this Wend night! Our one last vaca before Savannah arrives! We are sad Daddy cant come but its only for 5 days. We will pick up some matching Red Sox shirts for the family! :) Lets just hope I survive the long flight!

Today we got 90% of everything we needed for Savannah! We bought 8 comfy socks, 8 pjs, 2 pants, more receiving blankets, more burp cloths, 2 breastfeeding shields, & breastfeeding cream. We also picked up our crib from Walmart. (ordered online) Now that I look at the huge mound of stuff we have for her. I realize how many onesies we have for her! Seriously we are talking over 40! haha. I won a 22 piece lot on ebay of brand new gerber onesies short and long sleeve. In Newborn & 0-3 Months. Needless to say I may return a few I had for her and exchange them for some 3-6 months instead.

All we have left are Breastfeeding Pads, Breastfeeding Soothing Packs, Pacifier Pod, diapers, & Baby Body Support for our car seat! Everything else isn't as urgent! Even what we have left after that really isn't that much just finishing touches!

This is The Bundle Me Lite! We just ordered it! Just a nice lite cover for the summer & early fall! :)

30 Weeks & 2 Days
6th Prenatal Apt

♥ Savannah's Heartbeat was 153!

My total weight gain since my last apt is a whole whoppin' 3 lbs!!! Grand total of 15 lbs! I constantly am told how small I look for the end of my 7th month! It must be all baby!

The last few days I have been waking up and having to change my garments! I am soaked every morning! The doctor was saying that I may have a small tear in my water. And that it can actually heal itself! But to remain taking it easy, and they will keep a eye on it.

Cramping is still in full force. She thinks that is just going to be a normal thing for me to have to deal with. However she is still concerned about the amount of cramping. And would still like me to stop working as soon as possible. I don't really see myself making it past the end of April for working. Its just really putting a toil on my body.

I have been moved up to every 2 weeks! My next apt was suppose to be April 14th. However I will be in Boston, so it was moved to the 18th instead! So tech my 32nd week but a day away from my 33rd week.

30 Weeks

Less than 10 weeks left!!!! Yays!!! In some ways I am so beyond ready, and in others totally not!

My back has been KILLING ME! How on earth am I go to survive the remainder of this?! I bought a new bra thinking it would help. Instead my shoulders are killing me as well. So much for comfort. ugh. If only I could get a massage every day on the hour! Doesn't that sound wonderful?!

I ♥ Ice Cream!!!!!!
I really feel like I should be gaining a zillion lbs or have my teeth rot out. But for some reason neither has yet to happen. haha. It doesn't matter if its hot or cold outside I always want ice cream!

Ive also noticed it becoming harder to breathe?! I guess from the position shes in. It just feels like I cant take a deep breathe. Even a yawn is hard on me! :(

My OCD while Pregnant is in full force! I cannot drink out of glass to save my life! I know its so weird but I have to have plastic or else I wont touch it. For some reason I think it isn't clean enough if its glass. Its like when ppl gross out over nails on a chalkboard.... same concept. Except only during my 3rd trimester!

My doctor apt is Monday... so until then!

29 Weeks

Soooo tired! But def feeling tons better than last weeks adventure! Its amazing how contractions can slow you down! Thank Goodness for Medicine!!! And Thank Goodness I have almost 10 weeks left (or sooner)!!! :)

Recently all Ive heard is "Wow! You look tired!". Ummm ya you think?! Im 7 months Pregnant, have a 1 year Old, and had solid contractions for 4 days aka no sleep. Im beyond pooped! Some days I wish I could go to work with no makeup and pjs on but considering we have to comfort patients who are freaking out. And run around like crazy ppl, its probably a good thing I look nice everyday.

I still need to get over to Target to grab some more stuff for Miss Savannah... But Im tech giving myself to be ready by May 1st. Her crib is suppose to arrive any day now! Yays! Although we aren't setting it up until we move to our new house!

I love Food right now! I have never had so many sweets in my entire life! Savannah always wants something sweet! With Brent I felt like it was more meat! Weird, huh?!

I'll try and take a pregnancy photo this week!

This is the JJ Cole Bundle Me in Pink for Miss Savannah! Brenton has one in gray that I think will still fit him for one last winter. Hence why we got Savannah her own! We love these! Although she wont be using it until Fall!

A Visit to Labor & Delivery!
28 Weeks & 2 Days

Well last night I started getting some fun braxton hicks. Which then turned into fun contractions! They weren't nearly as bad as the incident a month before. So I decided to just deal with it. I finally fell asleep at 3am! Got up at 6am to get ready for work, got to work, and my contractions returned! To the point where I was in tears. So I called my doctor and she said to go to Labor & Delivery at the hospital. I than called Alan to come and get me.

We got to the hospital. Got hooked up to everything and of course my contractions stopped! I was so mad! But within a hour they came back! They checked my cervix and I wasn't dilated or effaced yet! So that was good! They did a bunch of fun tests, and saw I was indeed having contractions! Some as close as 4 mins apart. One of the tests was to see if I had a bladder infection. And guess what?! I DID! Apparently when your this far along with a bladder infection you have contractions. And there is no way to tell if your in labor. Unless you go in to get checked out and do a urine test! So surprise, surprise I have been put on Bedrest for the next 48 hrs!!! I have to let the medicine get in my system, and give my body enough unwind time from contractions before I can do anything! At least its not 100% yet. However my doctor and the doctors at the hospital want me to decrease my activity! So I think, I will plan on working until next month and then be done. My apt is 2 weeks from today so I guess we will see what she says by then!

28 Weeks

Yay!!!! 12 Weeks or less to go! Hopefully we will have our house situation figured out by then! And Miss Savannah can come home to a new house! :)

Savannah is moving around like crazy! I feel like I'm carrying really really low with her. She seems to always hit my cervix. Making it just uncomfortable. Ive also had a really strange sinsation the past week of something not coming out when I go to the bathroom?! Does that make sense??? Like something is stuck up there. Its just weird! Alan was thinking maybe its some of my plug! I did loose mine pretty early on with Brenton.

I can now out eat Alan! Not that I try but it just ends up with me wanting more. Leaving Alan usually stuffed and me content. haha. Speaking of food... Savannah still loves ice cream. And a really good steak! This Easter we are doing a steak dinner instead of the traditional ham! I can't wait!!!

I really hate having to take it easy so much. I feel like I'm behind on packing, cleaning, laundry, and heck just about everything. It also hasn't helped that the weather is finally clearing up! It just makes me wish I could go on a walk with Brent.

We have decided to get everything we absolutely need for Savannah this coming month. Just in case she decides to come in May! Absolutes being burp cloths, disposable breast pads, 3 lite thermal blankets, a few more sleepers, diapers, breast feeding accessories, bundle me light. Just my luck it will be the week we move. haha.

Alan finally helped me get into our shed to get my prego clothes & g's out! yay!!! Except I forgot how much prego winter clothes I have. So I'm sure Ill have to get a few tops for spring!

Ps. This is the Towel Set we got Savannah! Its made of Organic Cotton! And she also has a matching bib! Savannah now has 2 towels! So we are ready for bath time! :)

27 Weeks & 3 Days

5th Prenatal Apt

I gained some weight finally! I gained 6lbs from my last visit! Putting my grand total at 12 pounds! Which puts me exactly the same as I was with Brenton at this point!

♥Savannah's Heartbeat was at 148!

After my California Trip, I have been experiencing some swelling around my ankles. I'm guessing its from all the walking I did. She wants me to stay off my feet as much as possible. However I'm not sure how thats going to work when I already am! She wants me decrease my work activity... but I just don't see how that is going to happen right now! It kinda sounded like she was preparing me for bed rest.... ugh.

Contractions Ive noticed are worse when I'm under stress. Ie. House hunting/deciding! So she suggested to make a decision faster so I'm not so stressed. However than I will just be stressed about packing and moving! haha. So pretty much its a no win-win situation!

Well Surprise, Surprise! She wants to monitor me closer! So instead of going every 4-5 weeks, Ive been moved up to every 3 weeks! So my next apt is March 31st! Putting me at 30 weeks!

27 Weeks

1 Week to go until I'm in my 3rd Trimester!!!! Yays!!!!!!!!!

Today I'm having my baby shower for Savannah! Hopefully I'll get lots of clothes and blankets! :) So I shall post a separate entry for that!

I love being in California when I'm pregnant because its easier to breathe down here. Literally! (elevation change) However Ive noticed it gives Brenton much more energy! So needless to say I have been chasing him the whole time!

I have been so tired here! Brenton hasn't been sleeping as well as he does at home. So that means I get to get up with him a lot.

Savannah seems to be flipping and stretching all over the place! She is very active, and has taken after her brother, by kicking my cervix! I forgot how weird it feels! I constantly think her foot is going to pop out!!! I'm sure it will only get worse from here on out! 13 more weeks of this.... oh yay! :/

I'm getting excited to be almost done! But at the same time, I remember how tired and miserable I was with Brenton in the 3rd trimester. Its really making me want to find a single level home! The thought of climbing lots of stairs doesn't sound to great...

26 Weeks

Another Week has come and gone! I love how fast your 2nd trimester goes by! Its the 1st and 3rd that seem to drag out the most! At first I was feeling so huge but now I feel small for where I'm at.

Savannah is moving around like crazy! She is a very active little girl. Obviously she is taking after her big brother! haha. I carry very low with any of my kids. Some people told me that you carry more low with boys and not girls. Or sometimes I hear the opposite. I think it has more to do with your body size. Both Brenton & Savannah have felt and seemed very low. They both have loved to hit my cervix

Alan surprised me with Steak today! It was soooo yummy! Its a def pregnant or not favorite! Except I got a little carried away and ate to much. In fact I out ate Alan! Savannah wasn't to happy with me. Its a good thing I don't eat like that every day! I also have been downing orange juice like crazy too.

So some people may be wondering why I'm having my shower so early. Well since I have a high chance of being on bed rest we wanted to do it earlier. Plus we are hoping to move in April to Our New Home. And flying would be much easier to handle now than later.

25 Weeks

Its getting more and more awkward to carry Brenton and to have Savannah kicking back for Brent to move! haha. Its def going to be interesting on our flight to Cali & Ma! I cant believe that my third trimester is coming up so fast! Im somewhat anxious for Savannah to be here but at the same time not because we have yet to find a house we love!

Cramping doesn't seem to be as bad. Maybe those calcium supplement are kicking in?! Still pretty tired, but I think thats to be expected! I have been taking lots of naps! And eating probably more chocolate than I should be. haha. Smells are still pretty strong to me. Needless to say nothing can get past me. I really hate having downstairs neighbors. Not because there bad ppl but because whatever they cook, the smell automatically comes up. Always having the end result of being something that sounds awful to me at the time! Call me crazy but I also swear my sense of hearing is amazing when im pregnant. haha.

Ps. Nothing new purchased considering my shower is coming up and we are currently battling identity theft... yah sooo fun! ugh.

24 Weeks

This has been a interesting week. I seem to have slept as much as i possibly can. And for some odd reason Brenton turning 1 has made him into a mini tornado to everything he touches. haha.

I'm so over the snow! We seem to get one storm after another here. This week I slipped and fell 4 times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say my back and bottom is aching something fierce. The sad thing is I was wearing snow boats! I'm pretty sure I have bruised myself fairly well because of the lack of being able to move today. What are the odds of falling the same way every time?! Alan's mom broke her water slipping on ice with Alan. So needless to say she is always telling me to be careful. Plus the odds are really against me being a Thorp-e (Spanish it translates to clumsy retard). I became really clumsy the day I started seriously dating Alan. haha.

I have some how devoured 2 packages of cookies in a week. Alan says hes grossed out to the max with my food combos! My tooth, #29 to be exact was killing me last night. I'm hoping its not a cavity! (Ive only had 2 my whole life) I'm thinking its either a cracked tooth because it hurts to bite down or a cavity. Not a root canal because those are sensitive to hot and cold and I have yet to feel that. This time around my gums don't seem to bleed as much! There is def perks of working in a dental office. I had my teeth cleaned at week 20 once I had stopped throwing up. All that build up was driving me crazy! And I'm sure it helps that I have dental floss in every room as well as my purse and coats. haha.

Still cramping unfortunately. I had another incident but not nearly as bad as the first. It was on the night of Valentines. It lasted 2 hours. But this time I could totally handle the pain.

So between a lack of sleep, a sore bottom. sore back, tooth ache, & cramping. I pretty much feel like a wreck. Then add in my house being a disaster zone, and house hunting really makes things difficult! I'm hoping next week will be better and that all the snow will melt!

23 Weeks

Ice Cream, Ice Cream and more Ice Cream! Is all this baby wants!!! My cravings have began as early as 8:30 in the morning!!! It's really amazing how I haven't put on anymore weight with the amount of Ice Cream Ive eaten! haha. We aren't talking about a normal scoop of vanilla Ice Cream here. We are talking a full bowl of Ice Cream, Hot Chocolate Syrup, marshmallows, sometimes Peanut Butter, Whip Cream and Sprinkles on top! As I'm writing about this it sounds really good... but ill hold off because I'm trying to have some control! haha.

This weekend has been full of naps, naps, and more naps! Probably my body trying to makeup for what I need! Sometimes I wish it could be the weekend all the time!

My next quest is to find a Doula! The doctor said it would probably be a helpful thing for me! The thing is Ive tried googling it and got nothing! Anyone know how I can find one?!

Monday was a fun night! It almost resulted to me going to the hospital. Brenton went to bed as usual at 8:30 and I was catching up on some Oprah (I'm obsessed I know!) When I started to get a really odd pain below my breast down to my belly button. At first I thought its heartburn! So I tried some Tums. But after a half hour it was just getting worse. So I remembered what to do for Braxton Hicks. Lay on your left side, walking, & drink some water. Again nothing seemed to help. In fact laying down made it worse. As the night went on, so did the severity of the pain I was feeling. By 10 pm I was crying and in a little ball. The pain was out of this world! Worse than what I felt with Brenton! It was different that a cyst rupturing, or passing a stone, in fact i think 300 time worse. All that pain literally made me sick to my stomach. I threw up a good 6 times within the next hour, until there was nothing left! I called Alan at work and we both agreed that if it hadn't gone away by 3am he would take me to the hospital. Finally around 2:15 am it went away enough that I could go to sleep! When I talked to the doctor about it she said it sounded like I was describing severe contractions. And that if it happened again to go straight to the maternity at the hospital. She said that if they had to a baby could survive at 24 weeks (I'm a week short) but its obviously better to keep Savannah in there for as long as possible. So if that was preterm labor lets hope it doesn't happen until at least end of April-May!

22 Weeks 6 Days

4th Prenatal Apt

Savannah is measuring right where she should be! I have gained a whole whopin' 3 lbs in the past month putting my grand total to 6 lbs! I compared my baby book to Brenton's and with Brenton I 4-5 lbs more at this point! So believe it or not I'm actually smaller with my 2nd! For some reason that doesn't surprise me. I am convinced Savannah will be no bigger than 7lbs!
♥ Savannah's heartbeat was at 160!

As far as my cramping goes... the doctor suggested I get on a calcium supplement to help with the leg cramps. As far as the tummy cramps she said its actually normal to cramp more with each child you have. However she said that mine sounded more like contractions. (see my 23 weeks post about Monday) So we are going to keep a close eye on it for the month. She also wants me to keep a log of when its worse to see if working and being on my feet have anything to do with it. She said that if I start showing signs of pre-labor I will def have to stop working and keep it simple. I don't think she will put me on 100% bed rest, because she knows its impossible with a 1 year old.

No Sleep is something she can do nothing for me until I'm not working anymore! ugh! You have to be able to dedicate 10-12 hrs a night if they give you medicine to help. There is just no way possible that I can do that at this point. But there is only so much you can do on little sleep. I have already noticed being sleepy, and even a little forgetful at work.

My next Apt is March 7th but I will have to change it since I totally disregarded the fact Ill be in California for my Baby Shower. So probably the week after. :)

22 weeks

Still cramping! In fact I think more. I think I have even had a few random contractions. Good thing My apt is on Friday! I have had some leg cramps too. I read that there from a lack of calcium. The thing is I already get as much as possible, even though Im not suppose to. (allergic to milk products) Ill have to ask my doctor about supplements.

Ive also been thinking about a Doula as well. The idea of getting massages and pressure points pressed on during labor sounds wonderful! Plus the extra help with Breastfeeding! Don't get me wrong, I would still like to get a epidural this time around. But I want to wait longer before I get it this time... and I would like to only get one instead of four!!! haha.

I feel like I cant get enough sleep! All I do is want to sleep or end up sleeping! I probably would get more sleep, if I wasn't chasing Brenton so much these days.

Savannah is moving like crazy! She is def a very active little girl! She always kicks when I'm holding Brenton. And of course during the evening hours. Which probably explains not falling asleep until the wee hours of the morning.

21 Weeks

Lots and Lots of Cramping!!! UGH! I haven't gone to the doctors because My Apt is in 2 weeks. Ive been trying to take it easy, but I'm pretty sure I already know what she is going to say. Shes going to tell me not to over do myself. Which is hard to do because this is me we are talking about. I always have to have a million projects going on at the same time. Shes going to tell me that if I dont slow down Ill be put on bed rest like with Brenton. Which I want to avoid at all costs because 2 months of sitting/ laying around sucked! Let along the thought of doing it for more than 2 months and taking care of Brenton. So I guess we will see.

Other than cramping, Ive been craving lots of yummy food! Like Pizza and quesadias! Plus lets not forget Ice Cream. I do crave healthy things though. Everyday I have granola bars in the morning and I have managed going through 1 Gallon of Orange Juice a week! The thing is I'm not gaining anything!

I have been super duper tired but cant manage to sleep! I think I end up falling asleep between 1 & 2 am and then have to wake up at 6am for work. Needless to say I'm trying to make it up on the weekends. I am feeling Savannah more and more. In the ultrasound they said she was standing right side up. So that explains all the kicking I feel at the bottom of my tummy.

20 Weeks

I don't know about Savannah waking me up at night but I am beginning to feel her more! :) She seems to move most in the afternoon right now. I haven't wanted to throw up so thats a good thing! Ive been wanting a lot of pizza, chocolate, and water. haha. Sounds Yummy right?! Don't worry I'm limiting myself. Its starting to get harder to carry Brenton. I am so glad he is such a good boy. It helps hes been walking for almost 3 months and is starting to understand us. I'm hoping he wont learn how to hit until closer to 2, so Savannah wont be beat up to badly. haha. The best thing is I'm 1/2 ways done!!!! Yays! Lets hope she chooses to be like her brother and come a little early!

We have begun shopping!!! So far She has 2 headbands with 2 BIG flowers on them. One in Pink and the other in Purple. I still have to go get Red, Light Pink, Blue, Green, Black, Brown, and Cream. haha. We got her 1 pair of shoes, 8-10 onesies, 3 Dresses, 3 pjs, 1 pair of tights, 2 sweaters, 2 receiving blankets, and some bunny stuffed animals. I am already drawn to Bunny Rabbits so naturally that will be her animal. Alan is limiting myself monthly. So that was my Jan splurge. I will post photos sometime this week of the things we bought!

I am soooo glad I don't have to worry about furniture and car seats this time around!!! We do have to get a new crib because Brenton's was a used one and its falling apart. We have decided on this one for Savannah. Its a 3 in one... crib, toddler bed, and then twin bed. Except it wont have the wheels on it. For some reason I keep thinking Savannah will be 6 months old in Summer... I constantly have to remind myself shes coming in May/June! haha. And we do have to buy a Double Stroller. But I think we will probably buy one next summer in 09'. I just don't see us going out a lot during the summer.

I am most likely having a Baby Shower on March 8th in Southern California. Mrs. Malson insists that we do it. She is over the Moon about Savannah coming! We went to Target and Babies R Us and added things for Miss Savannah! Lots of Organic things since we had so many problems with Brenton's skin. And lots of Pink! I haven't decided if we will do just classic pooh or Vintage Floral. We will see when it gets closer! I know its technically still early to do a shower, because Ill just barely be in my 3rd trimester. But We are planning on moving to Our House (which ever we choose) in late March to Mid April. And I really want to be settled in before the baby arrives. :)

It's A Girl!!!!

We were beyond surprised but very excited! Savannah Lynn is still due to arrive on June 7th 2008! Although, I must admit once they said it was a Girl, I was in a bit of shock. Soo I don't recall how long she was! :( I do however remember the tech saying she was 8 1/2 Ounces! She is healthy and everything looks perfect!

I am really excited about buying dresses, and bows in every color! As well as having the 1st Grandson & 1st Granddaughter on both sides of the Family! I imagine she will be just as spoiled as Brenton was!

Alan's response to when they said It's A Girl... "I'm cutting up Tiffany's Credit Cards as we speak!". haha. He is very excited and already thinks she will have him wrapped around her little finger. As far as cutting up my credit cards, not really going to happen. I will be on a tight budget since we are buying Our 1st House within the month! At the same time I am a excellent Bargain Shopper, so I'm not to worried! :)

Yes she already has a name! If you recall if Brenton was to be a girl he would have been Savannah. It is the ONLY girl name Alan likes. I have married the most pickiest man when it comes to names. hahaha. Savannah also reminds me of Georgia which is where my Best Friend Ashley is from. Lynn is my Mother's middle name and also is keeping in tradition of the middle initial starting with a L.

19 Weeks

I'll keep this short and sweet since my Dr. Apt. was yesterday!

Other than being tired and feeling lots of fun pressure from my tummy growing. I have been eating like there is no tom! This baby really craves chocolate... and Oreo milkshakes. Oreo milkshakes are the same thing I wanted with Brenton. Apparently thats all that Alan's Mom wanted with him.

I have felt the baby move really randomly. Not a whole lot... although i feel something really low and then 30 secs later really high. So either I have a lightning speed baby or there really is more than 1!

4 Days left until we find out! I see that the votes are almost 50/50! So here is my prediction... If there is just 1 like we have planned on its a boy. If there are 2 its a boy & girl! So now we will just wait and see! My apt is at Noon on Wend!

18 Weeks 6 Days
3rd Prenatal Apt

Today was a fairly quick Dr. Apt! Earlier this week we had a scare with some bleeding but found that I was having Hemroids... Let me tell you not fun and extremely painful! ugh.

The baby's heartbeat is strong at 151. And Ive gained a whole 3 lbs! Although if you looked at me you would think it was more than that. Apparently all my body fat has gone to my tummy. The Doctor even says I'm measuring big for my gestation.

The Doctor has always had a hard time getting the baby's heartbeat because she said it was so back in my uterus. Shes also told me that since I was carrying so low there was a good chance of having Placenta previa. However the baby has moved apparently from my lower right side to the left of my belly button?! Also whenever they do a heart doppler on that left side I always jump out of my seat! It is so painful! Her response to this when I asked her how the baby can move so much... "I'll be very curious to see whats in there! Maybe theres more than 1!" What?!!!! Its a good thing the ultrasound is Wend and I don't have to wait very long!

18 Weeks

11 More days left till we know the gender!!! And let me tell you its killing me, because I'm not sure if I should get another dinosaur bed set for a brother. haha. If we have boys we want to put them in bunk beds when they get older! Plus if its a girl I want to start shopping so it doesn't seem so overwhelming at the end!

We have returned back to Utah and so has my morning sickness! Dumb elevation! ugh. Its only at night but still!

I'm 5 Months today! Seems hard to believe my Doctor Apt is next friday. I haven't really felt the baby move to much. Just here and there for a second. Ive been extremely tired lately. And feel very very pregnant! I'll post a pic soon! I look huge for 18 weeks, which doesn't make sense since the doctor told me I was carrying so strange.

17 Weeks

I finally felt the baby move! But it was only for 15 mins. or so on our drive down to Southern California. I haven't thrown up since Ive been in Southern California! However I still have that nasty cold Ive had for the past 2 weeks! ugh. Its slowly getting better... My tummy is getting bigger! I didn't show this much with Brenton until I was 20+ weeks. I will try and post a pic soon! I'm carrying really really low with this baby. Something tells me I wont be delivering in June and that it will be May instead. I guess we will see.

Today we are taking Brenton & Baby Thorpe to Disneyland! When I was pregnant with Brenton we went when I was 12 weeks. I guess its a tradition to go while I'm pregnant! Hopefully our next time I wont be pregnant, so Mom can go on the rides at California Adventure.

16 Weeks

We arrived in California today for the Holidays. Our Drive was nothing as far from pleasant. Daddy, Mommy, & Brenton are all sick! I have gotten a sore throat, stuffed nose, and slight fever. The sore throat has made it easier to throw up. Which hasn't been to fun for me. And a headache that is out of this world. Which I'm sure Brenton's screaming for 5 hours didn't help to much. (He has a double ear infection, runny nose, and has lost his little voice. Alan has a really bad sore throat.) I haven't felt the baby move yet. Its hard to believe that in less than 24 weeks Baby Thorpe will be here. Something tells me that Baby Thorpe will be early. Hopefully I'll be feeling better soon and Ill be able to enjoy Christmas!

15 Weeks

5 More Weeks and Ill be half ways done!!! This time around has gone much faster. Although not fast enough in the being sick! ugh. Nights are usually the best for me. I am constantly eating little snacks in the morning to help with nausea. How is that I still am sick?! Ive been sick since week 4! Its def beyond annoying! There are some days where I have no idea how I even function. People I work with think I'm super mom! I feel like I more of super pooped! Im starting to get curious what is inside of me! I dont really have a preference. I kinda want another Boy for Brenton to play with and I want a girl to put BIG Bows in her hair (yes Brittany bigger than the babys head!). So either way Ill be happy!

2nd Prenatal Apt

So today I had my rescheduled apt! The doctor had a really hard time finding the Baby's Heartbeat. However we found it ever so faintly. She said it is extremely rare at this stage to have such a hard time finding it. She said its probably because the baby is so far back. Which really baffles me because there is def a Baby Bump there! She also said that it will take longer to feel the baby. Which I have yet to feel anyways. My next apt is Jan 11th! And Gender Ultrasound is scheduled for Jan 16th!

14 Weeks

I realized today that I missed my 2nd appt for Baby Thorpe yesterday! Why did I schedule it for the same day as being out of town?! I blame Pregnancy brain. I have been falling asleep at 8pm the past few nights. And I believe I have become a emotional wreck with this baby. By this I mean crying at the stupidest things! We go home tom! And I am beyond excited to see my hubby! I find if I eat by 8am I don't get as sick. My grandparents eat 3 meals a day. And I am use to only 2 so its been a hard adj to eat more than normal. I cant carry Brent on my right side anymore because it just aches. I'm guessing because the baby is on that side. Thats about it for now!

13 Weeks

We are in New Mexico!!! First off being Pregnant and traveling with a 9 1/2 month Old is insane! I was officially the poster Mom of Pathetic, Run Down, Exhausted, and looked like I let myself completely go. Normally I can pull off being together but yesterday just wasn't the day!

Let me explain... I was so busy trying to clean the house, and finish my hw the night before our trip. I fell asleep at 2am and my alarm was suppose to wake me up at 5am. Well guess what?! For some odd reason it didn't go off! I woke up at 7am! Our flight leaves at 9:40am! So frantically I get up and start running around my house grabbing things I needed for our trip. I'm yelling at Alan to grab me clothes. Rule #1 never last minute have your husband pack for you! I had 2 garment bottoms and 5 garment tops! He forgot all of my socks! And packed me a bright pink zip up jacket that didn't match anything! As well as some other odds and ends that made no sense. We finally got out the door and arrived at the airport at 9am! My family decided to get my Grandpa Garcia a dog for his birthday! Which was ideally the perfect present for him. However I was to take it on the plane with me! We finally got checked in, and said our goodbyes to Alan. Then we precede through the security line. Wouldn't you know that I had to take Brenton out of his stroller. Take my laptop out of my bag. Take my shoes off. And take the dog out of his carrier. So with a 4 lbs. dog in one hand and a 20lbs. baby in the other I walk through without a problem. But there was a problem I had NO HANDS left to open a stroller, put the dog back in its bag, put my laptop away, or put on shoes! I must have looked ridiculous trying to open a stroller with my foot! Plus add in the fact that I'm wearing my Pjs still and my pony tail was almost all the way out. And the sheer panic expression on my face wondering how I was going to pull this off and make my flight. Finally a sweet older woman came up to me and asked if she could help me! Rule #2 dont bring a baby and a dog on the same flight if you don't have help!!! So thanks to her I was able to get everything loaded. I take off running down the terminal and get almost all the way down when I realized I was in the wrong terminal!!! So I ended up running back and to the opposite side of the airport. Finally I get back to my flight, which was in final boarding! The ladys take my ticket and say okay right through that door! Door?! I open the door and we are on the tar mat! Our plane was tiny! My Diaper bag was to much to take with me so it was checked with my stroller underneath the plane. I quickly had to grab what I thought would keep Brent busy for 2 hrs. I get onto the plane and they literally closed the airplane door behind me. I sit down and 1 lady says to me "bad day, huh?!". A man than says "you dont look to good!". Rule #3 never look so bad that people you have never met in your life tell you that you look like a wreck! When the stewartist came around he gave everyone 1 snack and a drink. However when he got to me he gave me about 8 snacks and 2 drinks! Again not a good sign! Thankfully Brent was good on his flight. And we arrived to NM safely and somehow in one piece! Lets hope the ride home goes better!

The weather is a wonderful change! We love 70 plus degrees! However I have slept a ton here! And I imagine I will do much more to make up for the lack of sleep this past semester. And throwing up is still happening! As well as needing to go the bathroom tons. Until next week...

12 Weeks

This has been a insane week! I'm trying to get ready for our trip on the 30th and I find myself beyond tired and exhausted to get anything done. Between work, school, Brenton, and packing, I cant help but find myself trying hard not to fall asleep after Brent goes down at 8:30pm. Plus add needing to use the bathroom every 2 seconds doesn't really help. And sadly for me feeling sick is still going on. Although it seems to be better as the day goes on. It seems like symptoms I had with Brent from week 6 to 12 are just barely starting now for me. Its kinda strange.

Thank Goodness I was able to eat Thanksgiving! And since I was cooking, I got all of my favorites! Yum! Baby Thorpe def enjoyed it just as much as I did!

1st Ultrasound!
10 weeks & 4 Days!

`Well my due date is moved 1 day ahead!!! Yays! Which puts my due date at June 7th 2008! 1 day less of being prego, hopefully. haha. Baby Thorpe had a strong heartbeat and is moving all around. You could already see the face forming and little legs and arms! It was weird because I automatically thought thats a little boy when i saw it. So I guess we will see in Dec/Jan. The baby was on my far right side of my uterus. Im not totally convinced the ultrasound tech checked everything. When I first got there she pressed on the left side which is where most of my pain has been. I pretty much jumped out of the bed! So she went to my right side and never went back to the left side. Which just seemed odd to me. My right ovary has a small cyst and had a cyst that ruptured. Which is what I knew, I had been feeling on the right side. She said there was also a small stone in my bladder. Again on my right side, and pretty much I need to drink water nonstop to get it to pass. But it still doesn't explain the extremely sharp pains Ive been getting on the left side. They checked for Kidney stones but nothing. She thought I was probably experiencing round ligament pain?! kk seriously its not that! I know my body and I got it with Brent at the end of my pregnancy. Totally not what I'm experiencing. Not from week 5 to 10! Ive had a baby before so I'm pretty sure my body wouldn't be hurting that bad. I asked her what the odds were of having a ectopic pregnancy on my left side as well as a normal pregnancy. She said the odds were slim and very unlikely. But c'mon I am in no means your typical patient! Even my doctor said if I'm at risk for something shes not surprised I end up being the 1 out 1000 people who ends up getting it. haha. I asked the tech if she could check my tube and see but she said there is no one of checking it with a ultrasound! My doctor was out of town and doesn't come back until Monday. So I think I'll just call her next week.

10 Weeks

Morning Sickness is finally easing up!!!! Yays! I still am getting a little sick but not as bad as before. My ovaries are still killing me. Which isn't very fun but oh well. More than anything I'm just plain tired. The last few nights I struggle to stay awake while Brenton is up. All week Ive been craving Turkey!!! Lots and lots of Turkey! Now lets just see if I can cook it without messing up. haha. Ill update on my ultrasound on Wend! :)

9 Weeks 5 days!
1st Prenatal Apt!

Well today was the 1st Apt. Although the 1st Apt isn't that much fun. Why? Because I got a flu shot, blood drawn, & a Pap! :( She tried to find the heartbeat but was unable to. She checked my uterus and said it was really far back which explains why we couldn't find it today. I told her about my Ovary's and she thought it would be best if we set up a ultrasound to check my ovary's and look at the baby. Usually you only get 1 ultrasound, and its at 20 weeks for the gender. But I was pretty excited I get a extra one! She told me that it was nothing to worry about and hopefully everything will be fine. She also moved my due date to June 8th, 2008 but that could change again when I get the ultrasound!

9 Weeks

Well 9 Weeks is so far a lot better for throwing up. Now throwing up is just in the mornings!!! Unfortunately without fail every morning at 7:28am you can find me next to the toilet! :( Which makes it sooo hard to get to work on time because I usually leave at 7:30 but now by the time I leave its 7:45. I finally told the Dr. (the dr I work for) and he was very understanding.

My Ovary's have been killing me and I'm thinking I may have another cyst on my ovary, or ovaries. I'm soooo incredibly sore all over. I just want to not move sometimes because I feel like I'm so bruised. However with a almost 9 Month Old that just doesn't seem to happen.

The Good news I'm finally getting to that point where it isn't dragging so much! Which the faster it passes the better off Ill be. My 1st Apt. is on Friday Morning at 9am! I am sooo anxious to go! So look for a update then!

8 Weeks

I'm really really looking forward to not throwing up anymore... only 5 weeks left! I think Ive tried everything and anything natural I could think of... pretty much I throw up regardless. So I'm just dealing with it. However Im not nearly as sick as I was with Brenton. So does this mean I will have a change of heart and have more than 3 kids?! NO WAY. After #3 Im soooooo done! If you know me well, you know pregnancy doesn't exactly flatter me! haha. The day #3 arrives, Alan's getting fixed. haha.

The rest of the symptoms have finally come into play. My Breasts are sore, heck my whole body is tender! My sense of smell is def there. And I even feel like a little bit of pregnancy brain is in effect because the past week has been harder to concentrate on things.

How is it for 8 weeks I already have a belly?! What the?! Is that even possible?! It cant be water weight because I throw up so much. With Brenton i barely showed at 18 weeks!

Which brings me to my next question for any of you who have had children... Did you ever have dreams before you knew you were pregnant about being pregnant? Or how about once you were pregnant dreamed of what you were having? And ended up being right on?

Whopper!

All I wanted with Brent was Steak the first 8 weeks of My Pregnancy. And all I want with Baby #2 is a BIG FAT WHOPPER!!! Granted I pick out the tomatoes, onions, and pickles. But its all I want! Now I realize a Steak was more healthy than a whopper. So Ive limited myself to only 2 whoppers this time. I usually hate Burger King. The last time I craved a whopper was after I gave Birth to Brenton, and had my father in law go get me one. haha. Its funny how your body craves different things. But my doctor said that what you crave is usually something your body is lacking.

FLU

Unfortunately for me, I have somehow managed to catch the flu! Ive had a fever of 101 for the past 24 hrs with non stop vomiting. So unlike morning sickness that is more random. I'm miserable 24/7. I was somewhat worried at first, because Ive never had a temp while pregnant. But the doctor assured me unless it was 103 ill be okay. So Ive been trying to rest as much as possible, although Brenton is more active than ever! I have spent the last 2 days on the floor of the family room and next to the toilet. Lets hope its a 48 hr bug!

6 Weeks!

The past 2 weeks have been going in slow mo.... ugh. Preggy Pops were life savers toward the end of 5 weeks, but now I'm sick of them! Literally! I have only wanted to throw up on a few patients but have controlled it to stay back. Granted I wear a mask but still.

Once again my prenatals are making me beyond sick!!! Which we were worried about happening once again. Im absolutely non functional while on them. So it looks like Ill be doing the same thing I did before. Not taking them until my 2nd trimester. And try and eat a healthy balanced diet.

I'm not as tired as I was with Brent. Probably because I'm more active and have so much on my plate I don't really have time. Overall I'm not as sick as I was before. Ive been trying to keep something in my stomach at all times. It seems to help but mornings and evening are the worse.

5 Weeks

Throwing up has its good days and bad. Which is good for me because with Brenton I wanted to throw up 24/7. This has made my life much easier and allowed me to work without any problems so far. Although some smells are hard for me to take... ie. surgical drill bit drilling through gums, a tooth completely infected with puss pouring out, and people who just don't brush there teeth. Other than that Im good! Luckily I only have to deal with one of those situations once every couple of days.

In some ways I feel like I'm farther along than 5 weeks. I'm anxious to feel the baby's heartbeat. With Brenton, believe it or not I could find his heartbeat and feel it beating a hundred some on times a minute. That was around 6 weeks! So I'm curious to see if I can feel the same with this one.

Being Sore hasn't been a huge issue this time around. I get a little tender here and there but mostly I think it isn't as bad because I have maintained the same workout schedule.

And the best news of all is that I'm not a grump this time around! I'm actually happier and more positive. Although I believe that has some credit due to having such wonderful friends at this point in my life. Having there support and concern means the world to me. It also helps that financially we are a lot better off than before. Which means happier Hubby and less stressful.

Overall I think this pregnancy will be better because I'm on my feet constantly doing something. Between Brenton, Alan, cooking, cleaning, school and work its hard for me to slow down.

Morning Sickness...

Unfortunately for Me, Throwing Up is in full effect as of this morning! Ugh. I was hoping that this pregnancy would go better than the 1st. Apparently not. With Brenton I began throwing up at almost 6 1/2 weeks. And here I am not even 5 weeks. Serious UGH!

Much to Our Shock today we found out that Baby #2 is coming!!! I got up for work and realized I hadn't gotten my period yet. So I took a Home Pregnancy Test this morning and saw a positive right away! I was beyond shocked because I hadn't had any symptoms! I quickly got Alan out of Bed and we just stood there in shock. Hes reply was "I think its broken". Just wait a few more days and take another one. Well on my lunch break I went to my drs office. They just so happened to have a open apt. So they tested me and confirmed Baby Thorpe is on its way!

We are hoping that this time around I don't get as sick. She gave me a prescription for my prenatal's. And we made a apt for November 9th, 2007 at 9am. Dr. Savage thinks my due date is between June 8th and the 11th. So we will just say the 11th for now!

After the shock of it all we are pretty excited. Although this isn't what we had planned at all. Heavenly Father had something else in mind. We have mixed feelings on what we want. We would love a little girl and at the same time love another little boy. I guess we will just wait and see in Dec/Jan! :)
